While tutoring is primarily for curriculum students (degree/diploma/certificate seeking), we can sometimes assist students enrolled in corporate and continuing education (non-credit) courses if we have tutors available.

One of the most important rules you must follow when utilizing the center is that you 不能 be in a session when you are scheduled to be in an in-person or synchronous class. If your class is canceled, please let the front desk associates know via tutoring@daves-studio.com, and they will contact your instructor to verify. This includes tutoring sessions that take place in-person, as well as online.

There is no official limit to the length of a tutoring session with Rowan-Cabarrus tutors, but we generally ask that students take breaks after 3 hours. This is for the benefit of both the student and the tutor. They are welcome to return for a separate session at a later time. 学生s can use the Rowan-Cabarrus tutors for an unlimited amount of hours and sessions each semester.

是的, we ask that students cancel or reschedule their appointments for either in-person or online tutoring through the 辅导中心. If the student is a no-show to the appointment, the tutor and/or front desk staff will reach out via email. If a student is recorded as having been a no-show to a scheduled appointment three times in one semester (regardless of the course), then they will no longer be allowed to schedule appointments in advance. 导师.com will remain an option as will drop-in tutoring for in-person sessions. You will be notified by the Director via email if this applies to you.
